The station was close by, there were plenty of shops nearby, and the breakfast was delicious.
The lady at the front desk had a lovely smile.
I think it would be nice to have a shelf or bench in the shared shower area where guests can put their clothes.

It was central to Uppsala. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English as my Swedish is very limited. The breakfast buffet was very good. The showers and toilets were exceptionally clean. The room had no windows so I didn’t need to use my sleep mask as the sun never really goes away in summer in Sweden. It is also sound proof or at least I heard nothing in my room. And serendipity my friend who gave me the lift from the airport parked in front in a 4 hour slot to discover we were in front of the hotel and I could check-in early.

Location was great, and breakfast also totally OK for this low price. Worth it. We stayed for a concert and the central location was fantastic. Everything else was either very far away or 500€ per night...so this was a welcomed alternative.
To not even have a window in the room was a bit extreme and we joked about being in the 2nd class Titanic experience;) we took it with humor and had 2 good nights of sleep but people with a bit of claustrophobic tendencies could not stay here. Also, the top bunk bed was very difficult to climb onto, and I am over 1.80m tall, young & fit - not everyone would manage. So, it was an interesting stay that I could even happily recommend, but you do have to know what you're signing up for. We had a good time overall..

Well, it depends on what you are looking for. Visiting during the "summer" was nice because of the pleasant temperature all day long, and the almost never setting sun. The rooms were dark enough to allow one to sleep peacefully. Rooms were clean.
There is very little to dislike about the place unless I'm picking on minor issues. I don't like that the place is pet friendly. I would not want to stay in a room where animals previously stayed. That was a turn off. Swedish people are not friendly at all, so no one greeted anyone, but the majority of the staff did. Fayol is a star employee.
