The House looked rundown but the interior was immaculate. Location right where we needed to be for the evening program

The bed was comfortable and extra pillows were provided. Not all rooms have air conditioning but paying for it was worthwhile in the summer heat. We slept very well.
The hotel is a short walk from Hamina market square and there is a supermarket slightly further away. The supermarket closes by 2200 hours so you may have to use the in-room minibar if you do not plan ahead.
Breakfast was a good buffet in the usual Finnish hotel style, Tasty coffee and tea were available without any fancy specialty brews. The gluten-free choices seemed rather plentiful.
The hotel parking lot behind the building is rather small and you need to pay an extra 10€ for it. The fee was posted on the web site, though.
During the summer the spa facilities were not open during our stay on a Monday. Not an issue for us and the opening times are posted on the hotel web site.

Large room, quiet and clean
Decent breakfast
This is not a spa. The hotel offers a direct link (a bridge over the street) to the city public swimming pool.
To pay 5€ extra for the parking (there was plenty of parking space available in the street but time limited)

Friendly receptionist and good breakfast.
Room on the 3rd floor was too hot. Bathroom was tiny.
