Our room was lovely. Very comfy bed. Fabulous breakfast cooked to order. Close to train station. Easy walk into St Ives town. Very close to Porthminster Beach. Friendly and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay.
The location is fantastic, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, and the guest house has a lovely, relaxed feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast offered simple choices but was fresh and well prepared.
For the price, we would have appreciated a quieter, more effective fan for the hot room. The pillows could be upgraded for a more comfortable night’s sleep, and some shelves or a chest of drawers for folded clothes would be a useful addition. Maybe this was just the room we stayed in?
Regular housekeeping during our 4 night stay, including a room/bathroom clean and fresh cups and sheets, would also have been appreciated.
Wifi connection sporadic, so expect slow connection and buffering watching via app on room TV.

Lovely chilled place to stay. Great balcony view. Appropriately decorated.
Railway every half hour noisy. Main hotel had a wedding reception on the Saturday evening and it was beyond noisy. Too much tbh
