The check-in process was great. Host provided the details for the keycode and where we could store our luggage. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee, tea, spices, utensils, a hot pot - all essentials. There were two large rooms and a separate bathroom. We loved that. Also, this place is very well situated in the city center. You could walk to everything. I would definitely stay here again.
The parking situation is not the best. The apartment is in a city parking zone and there is no private parking. So if you want to park very near to the apartment, you need to pay. Use the Parka app which makes it much easier than the street boxes. However, if you don't mind walking a bit, then a few blocks away you can park without paying on streets outside the zone.
We also used the washer and dryer at the apartment complex, but they are very slow! Plan to spend all day doing a single load of clothes.

The location was superb - so close to the centre of Reykjavik - we walked everywhere.
We didn't find an information booklet to tell us where the laundry was.

Well located, spacious, warm, good blackout curtains.
Problem with access initially, but the operator did their best to solve the problem and gave us late checkout which was appreciated.
No soap in the dispenser for the shower, oven tray dirty. Kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Very little hanging space/hangers for clothes.
