Great location and very clean. Lovely pool although photos of loungers different to ones there and there were No pool towels and couldn’t find anyone to ask for them. Fabulous view, lovely breakfast. It’s a slight contraction, grand in so many ways yet awful, yellow paper table cloths at breakfast and broken sunbeds.
Given the rating, there should be should be fresh coffee offered at breakfast. It was warm and had been sat in a flask stewing for some time. The reception/bar area is used as an office and a messy office, not welcoming.

The Force was strong with this hotel.
Our stay in Ithaca was most impressive. The hotel was exceptionally clean and strategically positioned within easy walking distance of Vathy’s bars and restaurants. Its location served us well.
The owners welcomed us warmly. When we required a hire car at short notice, they took command of the situation. A vehicle appeared at the hotel and, when its purpose had been fulfilled, it was collected again. Efficient. Seamless. Impressive.
We also spent a peaceful day beside the pool. There were no disturbances. No Rebel activity. Just complete relaxation.
Clean. Welcoming. Excellent location. Helpful owners. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
There were, however, minor disturbances in the Force. The air conditioning was rather noisy, and the absence of tea and coffee-making facilities in the room was… regrettable.

Room size was great, very clean, great pool, great location, feels very laid back and relaxed vibe, very friendly, charming.
Checking in was a challenge. We arrived at 215pm and everyone seemed to be on siesta. We managed to see a maid at 3pm and chased her before she disappeared. If we hadn’t have seen her we wouldn’t have been able to check in. We were waiting for 45 minutes; we rang the bell repeatedly, we rang the hotel which went to reception where we were standing, we contacted the host through booking.com….nothing! The manager / owner seems to be available again from 5pm, so it’s possible you may not be able to actually checkin until after 5pm, although it says 2pm 😂 I guess this is part of its charm.

Good location. And it had a pool
1. No staff there when we checked in
2. We were put in one room and had to then move the following day disrupting our comfort. This was explained as a booking system problem but why should we be penalised and disrupted. If this is the case put us in a different room or better and wear the cost do t pass the problem to the customer.
3. The pool was positioned as open all the time…apart from 3-5:30pm! So returning hot after a day out and pool was closed!
