Okay for a place to sleep

The location is walking distance to good restaurants and the beach. The beds are comfortable.

The hotel is a bit old and seem to have not been maintained well. The toilet/bathroom smelled, the phone inside the room is not working, we had issues with wifi, the breakfast does not start early which could be an issue if you want to start your day early. The villa is also quite dark (does not have enough lighting) during the night.

Always a pleasure!

Stay at Bali Ayu every time I come to Bali as I love the location and the staff. stayed in one of their newly renovated junior suites and I wasn’t disappointed! will always come back here

Private paradise

In the beginning, we booked the villa for one night since we were not sure what to expect. In the end, we ended up staying here for the whole vacation. Villa has a private pool and it is amazing waking up looking at it surrounded by trees and flowers. The bathroom is outdoors and even though I am scared of bugs and insects, I enjoyed it very much. You should be aware that occasionally you will encounter small lizards on the wall, but it is perfectly normal with this kind of bathroom. Another thing that made our staying perfect is the staff. They were nothing but polite and helpful from the beginning until the very end. I would recommend choosing this villa if you are planning a vacation in Bali and thinking of the Seminyak area. I know I will love to come back again.

It is not anything negative, just a suggestion. Since the villa has a small kitchen facility outside of the room, maybe a few more plates and pans would be good to have if guests that are coming are staying for a longer period and they would like to make their own food. We were only making tea and coffee, so we were perfectly fine, so this is only a small suggestion.

Lovely place, would recommend and go back anytime

Quiet and convenient location, lovely villa with private pool. Staff was helpful and friendly.

great location and value for money

we loved the pool it’s so much bigger than we expected and so nice to relax - the location was also great so near everything!

only thing was we didn’t get the double bed but two singles but I guess that was just unlucky

close to all amenities including 2 wonderful Beach clubs, restaurants & plenty of stores along the street

great if you’re on a budget and want a Villa

the pool was great, the room and bed were comfortable and it was overall very beautiful. although, keep in mind, if you book a Villa, you might not get the Villa in the pictures. we got a completely different one from the one we thought we would have. the Wi-Fi was good but not perfect

there were very big lizards in the property, which wasn’t such an issue if they didn’t make sounds every 5mins, very loud and very annoying. the bathroom door was heavy and closed very quickly.

location was good

the room was so noisy due to open bathroom. we couldnt sleep all night. the room wasnt properly cleaned and bedsheets had stains on them. the floor wasnt clean either. we had cockroach in the room

Disappointing

1. My balcony overlooked an empty lot that will eventually become another villa, but in the meantime, it is being used as parking. At night, when all the party people arrived, it was non-stop noise until the wee hours of the morning. All I heard was loud voices and vehicles zooming in and out of the parking lot. It was very difficult to get good rest. 2.Not sure how old the building is, but there was an executive suite below me that had a kitchen. Each time the guests would cook, the smell was very strong and permeated in my room until they were done.

One of the best places we stayed whilst visiting Bali, we got upgraded to a villa with our own pool

The staff at this hotel are so lovely and happy to help you. We ended up being upgraded to a better private villa with a bigger pool than the plunge pool we booked and it was so nice having our own pool! The breakfast menu at the restaurant used by the hotel is amazing! So many vegetarian options as well as other options for my partner who isn’t vegetarian and outstanding quality food and beverages with kind staff.

They dont have darker curtains as some of us prefer to wake up later without having the sunshine
