Reception staff very nice and friendly. Spoke good English. Nice, clean modern room and fairly comfortable. Air con not bad in this heatwave. Bar situation is a little strange. You sit in the foyer and tell the person on reception what you want to drink and they go and get it from the restaurant next door. But it was nice beer. Good vets nearby to get your dogs tapeworm treatment before returning to the UK. Are in the restaurant next door as there was no other choice other than McDonald's next door. It's a grill restaurant. The steak was ok. We stayed for 2 nights for a reset.
The location is right on the edge of town which is handy for access, but unless you eat in the attached restaurant or the McDonald's next door you're pretty stuck unless you drive. Sometimes after a 6 hour straight drive to get here, you just want to abandon the vehicle and eat and have beer or 2. So some choice other than the hotel would have been nice. I've seen them in a few hotels on our journey through Europe, but I'm not keen on the 'moulded' pod type bathrooms. They're a bit flimsy.
