The owners were friendly and made us very welcome. The place was interesting and the decor was in keeping with the area. Great sunset thrown in. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Giraffe experience not to be missed!
Unfortunately during our stay there was no electricity in the area and there wasn't enough solar power for showers or proper lighting .

Gerry gave us so much good information about the area. Our rooms were cozy and beds comfortable. The grounds were beautiful.
The dogs were enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty.

The garden, the rustic bedroom, the countryside feel. But above all Gerry! A genuinely friendly guy, not the faked "customer service" kindness. On our second day, we weren't supposed to have breakfast, but he made us try biltong on freshly baked bread, and Amarula with coffee. Yum! Gave us great advices for restaurant, garden route etc. Every thing you ask, it seems it can't say no to :D! Thanks again Gerry. We missed you!
