The pool area was very nice and relaxing, and parking at the property was convenient. One of the rooms we received was in good condition and quite comfortable, which made part of our stay pleasant.
Unfortunately the second room was in noticeably worse condition and did not appear to be properly cleaned. We found several dirty spots, including rubbish and even urine left in the toilet, which was quite disappointing. The difference in cleanliness between the two rooms was significant.

The owner. Was a very nice man and helpful.
The room. It was pretty big with a big bed and was clean.
The pool. Was definitely a good bonus and the pool was warm, clean and good size.
The bathroom. Needs serious updating as the shower dispenser is 20 years old. The pressure is also nonexistent. And on top of that, our shower gel dispenser was broken. So not great.
The housekeeping. In 5 nights, the towels were only changed once and I doubt the cleaning was done.
The location. It was a bit far from the main beaches in Lamai and Chaweng but that was because we were on foot. If you can rent a motorcycle, you can get to anywhere in 10-20min. The owner rents some for 150/200 baht a day, which is a very good price.
Also be aware that the owner does not do breakfast anymore, even if other reviews mention it, so we had to find a place to have breakfast every morning. (Highly recommend the Homegrown x Cafe KOB which was incredible and pretty close)
