Nice view on the lake and mountains

very good, like the view of the lake with snowpeaks in the distance and green trees close to the hotel. The architecture of the main building is marvellous, traditional old mansion house close to the lake, laid back from the main road, on a side road slightly up the hill. The annexe part is modern, very functional. Parking facilities are close to the hotel.
2 times I dad dinner in the hotel restaurant, one time the fish was extremely oversalted, second time the sweet and sour vegetarian dish was that much sour you couldn't eat - no replacement had been offered.

Excellent granola. Good coffee of several varieties. Enjoyed speaking with new wait staff person who spoke excellent English because she lived in the US in the state of Illinois where I was raised!
Did not like not have access to English language TV stations.

My rating was mostly based on the impeccable unforgettable view from the room and the cleanliness. Improvement can surely be made in staff friendliness and surely the breakfast. For the prices paid in Switzerland in comparison with the rest of Europe, the breakfast could have been much better. Of course I haven't stayed in a five star but a way better breakfast has been expected. Having said that as I said the room view still make it all worth it.

Really loved my stay here. The view from the room and restaurant was amazing. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The free bud around the lakes was a great bonus.
Rooms would have benefit from a kettle and minibar.

The mostly homemade breakfast buffet with some delicious products i've never heard of before, the efficien hair dryer, the view on Niesen, the confortable bed.

all good even thought a little old fashion looking room, but facing the lake is amazing!! The food was not bad too. Additional surprise with small
little pricy dining in the restaurant.

Excellent location. The breakfast is nice with fresh cooked eggs, good coffee ☕ and what is needed for starting a successful day.
Leaving, we were sad to leave. Looking forward to staying with this hotel again soon.

We stayed at this hotel in late November, it seemed as though we were the only ones there. The area was so peaceful, the hotel was very clean, the breakfast was light and delicious, but most of all the views. Could not have picked a better stay while in Thun.

property. It was a quiet location & the mountains are gorgeous.
I had expected the hotel to be closer to the lake for
some reason, but there was a large distance between
the lake and the property.

A very comfortable hotel with great views of Lake Thun and the adjacent mountains. We paid extra for 2 rooms with a view - well worth it; a lovely balcony allowed access to cool breezes and views of the sunset. The breakfast was very good. We chose this hotel because of its quiet location and proximity to public transportation; the bus and lake boat station are only a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
It was a 15-minute, uphill walk from the bus station to the hotel but well worth it for the quiet location. They also have good parking facilities for those traveling by car.

The view over Lake Thun was beautiful, the staff were always helpful, rooms and bathroom were clean. Transport links were good with a bus and boat service nearby.
The carpets were a bit dated and needs updating. No locks on the bathroom doors.

Awesome lake view from the balcony. Nice location, close to the lake and promenade. The neighborhood and the hotel itself was quite and cozy.
