Lovely rooms comfy bed great beer garden breakfast was exceptional
Came back after being to the theatre at 10pm and the bar was closed which we thought was not good considering it is a pub so no drinks after 10 on a Sunday

The rooms were comfortable and the air con during the heatwaves was heavenly! The beds were comfortable and the breakfasts were freshly made and very tasty.
We booked it as it had car parking but as there was an England World Cup match they decided to close the car park due to having a ‘fan zone’ in the rear garden. This meant we arrived and there was nowhere to park. Not only that but there was a large crowd waiting to get in the front entrance. We spoke to the doorstaff who let us past but we then had to force our way through the crowd with bags and suitcases. The entrance had two tables either side for giving people wristbands and their free drinks which were already all over the floor and again we were made to try and push our way this crowd. No thought was given to hotel guests coming and going. Then on the last night before we left we were told dinner was served till 9pm, but when we went to the bar to order at 8:45 we were told the kitchen had closed. Considering how much the stay was, overall it was not worth the money we spent!
