near town and shops

my car smashed at the car park (the back window ), didn’t feel any sort of concern from staff seems they’re not bothered . the kettle also was not clean. and my initial booking was not what I booked in booking. com. I didn’t get the room that I booked

Place was disgustingly dirty. Stained carpets, smelly linen and towels, and dog hair on the chair. It would not be considered even to be a 1 star in Canada. The pictures on Booking.Com did not appear to be for the rooms at this hotel.

Great location, and comfortable. provided me with a complimentary drink and coffee voucher from the Cafe and Bar which was a bonus

Room was a little dated and could do with an upgrade in the near future

Hotel very close to town, restaurants and cafe part of hotel and nice. Staff very friendly and welcoming👍

Could hear locals/people yelling arguing as they passed hotel after night out, my room faced the street so was randomly noisy due to the above.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was close to shops and the centre of town. I really enjoyed the cafe - the meals and coffee were delish! The room was a good size and there was plenty of parking.

The bathroom felt a little dirty and the room was a bit musty when I first arrived.

No breakfast

The fridge was not closing properly because the icebox was covered with a thick layer of ice, which made the situation worse. No milk was founf in the fridge. At night, not-residing people could seat freely on the balcony in front of our room, drinking, shouting (on purpose) and nobody took care of this disturbing situation. It was a double room with just one mug, one spoon, no refilling of the toiletry soaps and other gels, somebody was constantly smoking at the base of the stairs so that walking outside of our room was extremely disturbing. The location and the annexed restaurant were ok

The Diplomat is located right in the centre of Alice Springs with good access to inner city services by foot, and easy taxi options for further out options. The staff are friendly and helpful in response to requests. Food options are plentiful onsite and nearby.

The convenient central location means you are right in the centre of all the action in Alice Springs so I found the street-side room was a little noisier than the inner-facing room I had previously stayed in. But my request to relocate rooms was quickly accommodated and a swim in the pool and excellent AC helped create a restful few days.

Location is good

I had a room facing into the street. At night, there was so much noise from drunks outside that I got almost no sleep. I might as well have slept in the park. If you stay here I would strongly recommend you request a room facing the car park, not the street.

Security. A family member lost handbag with cash very shortly after arriving. Staff should have cautioned guests on arrival about area, which is plagued with threat for personal security.
