The staff went above & beyond to bring a mattress & bedding for us due to our kids refusing to sleep in a double bed together!!
The bathroom door didn't close properly, though the staff did say they had only just taken over & it felt like they were looking to improve things. It certainly wasn't an issue & was the only thing to say we didn't like!

I liked the location, staff were so nice and welcoming. I liked how cosy it make is feel. There were a wedding on and we sat outside and had our drinks listening to the wedding band. The breakfast was in with the price, and WOW it did not dissapoint. Great cerial choice, cheeses, toast, yoghurts, fresh fruit and coffee and tea selection. The cooked breakfast was great. Top quality sausage and streaky bacon. The mushrooms were amazing. The bed was so comfy and all the channels on the TV worked. The shower was fantastic along with the bathroom facilities.

It was a great location for us and it looks lovely from the outside. Considering the cost given it was GNR weekend we thought the price was reasonable
The bedroom smelt of urine, was very dusty and there was lots of cobwebs. The mattress was in need of changing, laying close to the edge rolled you onto the floor!
We ate in the restaurant and there want enough staff, we waited a long time to get served and it took the food a while to come. The food was nice when it arrived, apart from we ordered garlic bread and what came was a slice of lightly toasted bread with pesto, garlic granules and a smattering of cheese, dumped on a plate the cost of this was £7:95. I commented on the cost when paying and was told, oh that’s because of the cheese!
