The room has recently been refurbished, and all the amenities are fantastic. The coffee machine and the lounge chairs are a good addition. The bathroom is stunning. The front desk was friendly and helpful, really made our stay a breeze. I love the extra lil treats in the room, like the cookies and the tea selection. Room is well stocked with cutlery and dishes for your stay.

This has become my top of the list accommodation in the Manawatu area, it meets all the requirements of a class act motor lodge accommodation for comfort, cleanliness, facilities, location, just a terrific place to have these home comforts for a great stay.

How modern it was
We booked a room with a Spa for our 7 year old twins, they were going on all day about how they couldn’t wait to get to the hotel for a warm spa after being in the snow all day, to Arriving their to be told sorry we are upgrading our rooms NO SPA & that was it, no money back for paying extra for the spa, my kids were really disappointed and upset and the road was so noisey it sounded like our windows were open all night, very disappointing
