Séjour très moyen, faux 4 étoiles, malgré quelques personnels très chaleureux et très compétents qui ont su rendre meill

Great Location but overpriced for the amenities offered

Buffet Meals were fine, of the standard of a 4 star hotel. Some nights all 3 main course options were hot (spicy), which was not ideal. We went for dinner at 8-8.30pm and some offerings were not replenished. 3 varieties of ice cream should have been availble but were finished by time we got there.

The room was especially poor value. The only storage was in the bathroom, with open hanging rails (great if you wanted your clothes steam pressed) and 2 shelves, additional shelves were available in the toilet (YES on the toilet windowsill). The toilet itself was strange in that you had to manoeuvre to get into it around the door, it was at a 30 degree angle which made it challenging. I feel sure that larger guests would have had difficulty using the toilet. The balcony was nice with nice wicker furniture but was really uncomfortable as no cushions were provided. There was no place to store suitcases, one stand was provided in the bathroom but that was up against the hanging rail so you could only use one or the other. Insufficient sun beds were available for the number of guests.

A szállás elhelyezkedése tökéletes és csodaszép a hotel! A szobák tiszták és a miénkből gyönyörű kilátás nyílt az óceánra (nem feláras szobánk volt!). Az ételek kiválóak és a bárban is remek a kínálat. A strandról és a medencétől páratlan kilátás nyílik az óceánra, nem lehet betelni a látvánnyal! A személyzet fantasztikus, végtelenül kedves mindenki, segítőkészek és tökéletes munkát végeznek! Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom a szállodát, mi biztosan visszatérünk! :)

Peaceful, calm and relaxing.

Food was good. Staff were excellent. Free water sports were surprising. Paddle boards, paddle boats, kayaks and snorkellingbteip etc.... Security was very good and good parking.

Selection of alcoholic beverages was limited. Floor fans to increase air circulation throughout the bar, dining and foyer would decrease the humidity. Toilet in room was very small and the door closing inward makes it difficult to sit on the toilet

Relaxing holiday in a beautiful resort

Friendly and helpful staff. Great food every day on all inclusive package, both local and international flavours available. Enough sunbeds for everyone. Live music every night at the bar. Cocktails list quite big and varied. Very comfortable bed. Gorgeous water views.

Location further than expected from main attractions and capital city. Grand gaube is a very quiet village and the beach isn't great for swimming. However, we still loved the hotel as we wanted a relaxing holiday.

We had a very pleasant, comfortable and relaxing stay.

We liked the ambiance, the a la carte restsurant, the island feel

1. The rooms need some updating and maintenance ue the soap dispenser was broken, the air-conditioner dripped water onto the bathroom floor. 2. You need hand rails at the steps in several locations, especially the dining area.

9 night stay @ Verandah

Good value for money. A smaller hotel with enough space so never felt crowded. Much prefer this than some of the other big hotels. Staff were friendly and fun. Very comfortable, clean and organised. We were worried about additional costs as bed and breakfast guests, but found good value lunch and dinner options at the hotel.

Nothing in particular we didn't like. If there was anything, I would recommend this for a 4/5 night stay maximum. We had 9 nights and felt it would have been better to mix our trip up a bit as we were struggling to find things to do towards the end - personal preference though!

Exceptional

Lovely place with amazing staff, great food & beautiful surrounding. The pool & the ocean view is splendid! The room was clean & spacious, we had the apartment on the groud floor and it was the best! I highly reccomend to book the ones on the ground floor since you will have a direct access to the pool and can use both of the entrances - the main one & the one from the garden.

Overall the hotel has stunning views and very helpful and friendly staff.

Just the concern of Halal. Pork is made on the same grill where halaal meals are prepared. We then had to be very careful on what we ate

highly recommended

amazing location/scenery throughout, very friendly and approachable staff, we even received a romantic dinner as a gift for honeymooners. really liked diverse landscape: on one side it is a beach, on the other side it is a wild coast. additional like for their efforts towards the sustainable (wood card to access the room, etc) it was also nice how the towels were folded each time we were back in the room after cleaning (see photos attached) variety of food in buffet was also on the top level.

the shower in our room was not sealed properly so a lot of water was going on the floor and in a few days the room was stinking. this was not a major issue (should be an easy fix for the hotel), and we still think this hotel is more than worth visiting.

Unforgettable

The staff were amazing. Raj was the food manager and introduced himself on our first night, he also was part of setting up the New Year’s Eve celebration which was a fantastic night. We had Sega dance lessons with Dany who was brilliant, we spoke to him a lot across our stay and he was always happy to have a chat with a smile on his face. Moheeni works in the Spa. She was so welcoming, remembered us and provided a super relaxing setting for my facial and head massage. The bar and restaurant staff were all so kind and attentive. I would highly recommend staying here for festive periods.

Amazing honeymoon!

This was without a doubt the best customer service I have ever seen! Very professional, kind and helpful. The hotel is located probably in the most beautiful place in the world. You could literally see whales jumping from the water while having breakfast! I just cant find words to describe how great stay it was!

The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. It was not properly divided from the room. In the place where I expected wall there were wooden blinds... And the door separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom were very think so I couldn't have any privacy in there. Surely 10/10 hotel but not with that kind of bathroom!

An amazing, special and never to be forgotten hotel experience!

We stayed in Comfort Room 501 which was ground level and great location- we could watch the sunset from one window and sunrise from the other. The room was clean with modern decor. Bathroom supplies were more than ample - included toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, vanity and sewing kit. Beach was lovely and we were able to swim, snorkel or just laze in the sun. Plenty of beach activities to enjoy. Hospitality of staff was exceptional - a huge thank you to ALL STAFF for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. A special thank you to Raj and Pretima for arranging a surprise cake for our 30th Anniversary, Asunyah for serving us so diligently at breakfast every morning, to all the entertainers who made our evenings so much fun, especially Dany and Miguel. Veranda Paul et Virginie exceeded our expectations in so many ways- it is a smaller intimate resort where you feel really spoilt by the amazing staff.

Perfect setting for a beach holiday

A beautiful setting for a well thought out mini resort. Beautiful infinity pool. pedalos and boats provided. Friendly staff. Great food. Gluten free option. Secondary restaurant on the beach provide a good alternative. Good cocktails. fresh linen and good cleaning service.

The evening music entertainment could be better and more seating provided in the area. The bar staff are friendly and work hard but more are needed for a quick service. they need to identify those of us who are paying for the drinks to get a food service rather than be at the back of the queue of the 'all inclusive' customers who hug the bar.

Nice location. We did not have a very good room at first (very small, no view) but staff changed us to a much better room with seaview after the first night

Too expensive for quality. Especially the food was not good, and when we decided to switch to the seafood restaurant one night, we were promised a discount which we then did not get when checking out because we had a menu, instead of a la carte. However, when reserving, they insisted we get a menu. Staff also kept forgetting orders or just never came back to bring it, for example with drinks. Both pools are quite cold.
