Great location close to main attractions, really friendly family running it (they even invited me to the beach one day, it was so nice), I felt very safe as a female solo traveller and the room was great value for money. Would highly recommend staying here.

The location is amazing, we also loved the terrace upstairs it offers a beautiful view, the property is very clean and the owners are extremely lovely and welcoming.
The wifi didn’t work upstairs, breakfast could be more varied

The room was extremely clean and cozy. I felt almost like home. The bed and the pillows were amazing. There was A/C in the room, and I didn’t expect it to be there, so it was a nice surprise:) There was even a fridge and a freezer in the room. Even though my room was located next to the reception desk on the ground floor, I had a great sleep and home-like comfort. The staff was very nice and welcome. For this price they offered a free breakfast, which was enough for me to be full until lunch!
The shower wasn’t working properly (not enough hot water in the evening, and sometimes not enough pressure). But I really cannot complain about this since I stayed only one night, and I didn’t mention it to the staff because I just had one shower:) But I’m sure if you’d stay more than one night, they would help you to sort this out! Also, I would replace shower curtain with something solid, because shower is small and the soft curtain was sticking to my body.

Berk Guest house is situated near everything you might want to see in Istanbul, perfect location! Host's were fabulous, sharing with us tips on places to go and best way getting there. Very helpful and genuinely lovely couple! Breakfast was pretty good, plenty to keep you going.
