The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center

Excellent. Looked amazing on arrival. Designed more for the business man the tourists. Our mistake.

Limited lighting in foyer and rooms.

Evverything was incredible. The business center is perfect for meetings, having quick snacks and has an amazing view of the city and even the sea!. The rooms are super comfortable and very good to be able to work on the desk if needed. Despite being on a very busy area of the city, the rooms are super quiet and you don't here the chaos of the city. The spa, gym and pool are great for disconnecting and relaxing after a busy day and the food is quite good

Food quality could improve a bit but for me it is still an overall 10 out of 10.

My husband and I had the lounge access, so we were able to eat the delicious breakfast there! They had so much to choose from, and the service was outstanding. The staff, Esperanza and Francesca took great care of us! Also the location of the Westin was great and there were food choices within walking distance. We recommend Mamma Lola if you go outside of the hotel to eat.

There were signs at the hotel for the food court across the street from the Westin, called Popurri and we did not like it. The service was really bad there. The one meal I did like from there was from the Nikkei restaurant at Popurri. We loved everything at the Westin though, but if you are going to promote Popurri, make sure it is at the Westin standard of customer service!

The receptionist was very rude upon arrival wanted to check my Australian passport and more proof that I was Australian and for my partner she even asked about his visa status and so much detail that I considered unnecessary. I had a very uncomfortable incident : I went to the spa and everything was fine there I ask for it to be charge to the room and all good …. but then I got printed message left at the door of my room saying I needed to pay the account from the spa… my room keys wouldn’t open the door so I had to go to reception to pay the spa for my keys to operate and to be able to go inside my room. Never in my life I had experienced such an embarrassment , every time everything gets charge to the room and you pay at check out. I was treated like thieve !!! The restaurant and our dinner at night was excellent and the breakfast was really good .
