Very lovely place, I felt at home

Ruth provides a welcoming environment for her guests to relax in. Lovely spacious rooms overlooking the garden and a freshly cooked breakfast each morning. The B&B is very close to Morton National Park which has an easily accessed viewing platform as well as the many bushwalking tracks.

Our hostess Ruth was very welcoming. She was always friendly and ready to help with my queries about the area. Her breakfast was generous, tasty and well cooked. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. It had a king bed, ensuite, and a balcony overlooking beautiful gardens. The area was quiet, with plenty of local walks, galleries, dining, and shopping close by. The Lodge is also pet friendly, so even though I don't own a pet, I got to enjoy the presence of other people's animals. There is also parking, wifi, and a smart tv in all the rooms. The downstairs has a variety of sitting rooms filled with books, games and music, as well as an outdoor deck and dining area. Gardens surround the Lodge, and every day we are visited by the local cockatoos. When I was there in Spring, everything was blooming and the Tulip Festival was on, so if you like nature at its best, that is the time to go. Overall, it was a very comfortable, relaxing experience, and Ruth is a fabulous hostess!
