Good hotel if you have a car to go sightseeing. Nice public bath to soak the bones.
The rooms and hallways need to be updated.

Huge room and bed (both the biggest I've ever stayed in in Japan) with a nice city view. Really clean. The bath facilities were the best I've seen outside of luxury onsen. There were many different baths, including some great jacuzzi-style ones with jets. A really nice sauna facility, too.
There wasn't a parking lot. They have a deal with the Times one down the road but we did have to walk a little ways to get to it. I think it was maybe ¥1000 for the night.

Size is adequate, and being close to the elevator is convenient. Though the pink toilet shows the hotel's older style, it was clean and functional, which is what matters most.
The hotel has only two elevators, which can be inconvenient for a large property with many guests. We were advised to avoid peak breakfast hours, so we went around 9 AM, but the food was not replenished quickly. Near 10 AM, I went to get some water to take my medicine. A male staff member explained politely that breakfast service ends at 10 AM, which I understood. However, a female staff member laughed at the situation without reason, which I found discourteous. I clarified to the male staff that I only needed water.
