It was a nice experience.

The Terracota restaurant was excellent. Normally I don't like hotel restaurants, the food is not authentic and quality is not good, but Terracota was excellent. the pulao, Indian breads and lamb leg amazing. I love the vegetable biriani. I didn't drink but it looks like they also have a good selection of wines, which is rare in India. And the price of food is good too. The location was also great, with the metro station by the hotel. The metro impressed me, easy to use, organised and clean.

the access to internet was not constant but it was ok. The staff was always helpful to solve any connective issues so it wasn't a major problem.

Disappointing!

The staff at the hotel was amazing. Food service was excellent and choice of Indian dishes were brilliant and well prepared. We tried few chinese dishes as well, which came out pretty good. Our Waiter suggested a prawns dish, which again was sublime. The only reason why I would stay at this place is becuase of the staff.

Well the hotel is run down. The room we had had few fixtures coming off the wall. I had to take the emergency exit once and was trying to reach someone by the phones provided there, and no one attended, which could be dangerous in a real hazardous situation. The strairs were pretty ugly as well with no maintainance. Our room housekeeping was good interms of changing bed linens etc, however the room has not been maintained well as I could see stains off the wood. Interms of the food, I will keep away from continental dishes in general especially the sausages and bacon which was tasteless. I had a piece of their tiramisu from the brunch and was a let down with no rum flavoring at all in it if you know what I mean!

They don’t monitor the cleanliness of the room in order to maintain the standards of the 5 star property. Their cleaning staff needs to be monitored and directed

Not recommend, especially if it's the 5th floor.

It's in the city near to IT park.

Very old hotel, bad smell from coriander, washroom having no bit so if any water drop in toilet it's come out in room, ac not working well, tear bedsheets but not changes and horrible sound come inside room if anyone walking in coriander.

The view from room , the pool & restaurants were good.

Initially they allotted a room infront of stairs , bath room was kind of open & visible to outside, phone was not working too & upon request they reassigned a good room . Mot of the times upon calling In room dining, none didnt pick up the call. I

The Hotel was well equipped, but somehow outdated. Marble in the rooms. Staff sometimes willinged to support you, but not always able. Checkout procedure very slow. Continetal breakfast was good,

Some carpets are over their best years. Staff sometimes willinged to support you, but not always able, eg printing flight tickets took 2 hours. Checkout procedure very slow (20 Minutes excluding waiting time). reakfast good, but staff sometimes forget, that they wanted to bring you some things. So I would take this hotel again, but I think they can develop to get a better.

one of the weakest taj properties in Bangalore. Poor amenities and below average food. Wi-Fi provided in room was very poor. inspite of being the Christmas weekend the food choices and taste was poor.

Could be better maintained for the money being charged

convenient location good food

1. the shower was in appropriately designed - can’t hang towels nor was there any hand shower or tap. it opened to the bedroom and I couldn’t place a dry mat as the doors only opened outside and pushed the dry mat away. 2. the tea and coffee were not refilled after the service 3. the tv unit was ancient and was not easy to use as it can only be viewed from the sofa and not the bed 4. the corridors were not clean and could be better maintained

Glorious Stay @ Vivanta Bengaluru

Room, Housekeeping and Food Services are exceptional. Very helpful, friendly and flexible Hotel staff. They are trained very well and would go extra mile to help the guests. The array of breakfast foods is mesmerising.
