Ideal getaway for three nights for our family. Weather played ball, which helped. Lovely location and friendly staff.
Just being pedantic, but for a family of four with two teenagers an extra roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated for the length of our stay plus only one dishwashing tablet provided, and only 4 forks and knives.

Bar and restaurant on site are lovely surroundings and offered a range of food and drink options.
Great living space at Blawearie Farmhouse and pool table/cinema room is a great way to keep all ages entertained.
We stayed in Blawearie Farmhouse and when we arrived on a wet and windy day in October, there were multiple windows open and the house was very cold. It then took some time to get the house warm and comfortable to spend time in.
Also no hand towels provided in the bathrooms and also no door mat (which was less than ideal with wet shoes given the poor weather on the weekend we visited). Intro booklet given at check in was for lodges so some information regarding thermostat etc did not apply for Blawearie. A newer property to the suite and just a couple of touches that could be improved on.

Decor was themed nice
Things were run down in the lodge. We stayed in the same lodge 6 months ago and same things were still run down and not fixed. A blanket was screwed over the sky light and was unable to take down so the sky light was covered unable to see out of it and made the lodge very dark.
