Beautifully decorated

The check in process is messy : it’s a chat with someone on WhatsApp but they are rather unhelpful and don’t always answer questions with precision
Nowhere to leave bag
The shower was a plastic cabin but it was ok. The toilet didn’t flush properly.

The decor, size of the room and comfort of the bed and chairs were excellent. The bathroom also was exceptional
Access was online only and entry to the property by key code. No personnel were onsite. For people who are not tech experts this is challenging. I was unable to complete and forward the important self check in form and only via WhatsApp messaging with the owner finally obtained the various codes by sending him our passport photos. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor television. Not the properties fault but El Escorial is exceptionally hilly including the site of the hotel

Cozy hotel with comfortable rooms , great location, very friendly staff, sparkling clean. The interiors added a nice pleasant touch to our trip!
