We recently stayed at the Canton Hotel Guangzhou, Tapestry Collection By Hilton for two nights, coinciding with the opening day of the annual Guangzhou Autumn Fair. Despite the morning rush with large groups and many guests checking in, the reception team handled our registration with impressive efficiency.
Even though it was well before the standard afternoon check-in time, they managed to get us into a room right away.
The helpfulness of the entire staff stood out throughout our stay. Location-wise, the hotel is ideal, it’s within easy walking distance of major shopping streets, malls, and plenty of great restaurant options.
Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and it was remarkably well-insulated from the outside street noise.
The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring a great mix of both Chinese and Western choices.
Overall, it was a very pleasant two-night stay.

The breakfast was supposed to be "international" . It was no where near international. The coffee was horrible. The orange juice wasn't juice, it was drink. There were only old fried eggs and no other western choices at all. Horrible really.
The staff were polite but the check in and check out procedures were way to lengthy and inquisitive. We won't be staying here next time.
