Super Blick

Das Zimmer war im 27. Stock mit Flussblick und Zugang zum Club. Hier konnte man frühstücken und fast den ganzen Tag Erfrischungen bekommen. Abend gab es Cocktails und ein leckeres Buffet mit Kleinigkeiten. Es gibt zwei schöne Swimmingpools und auch Handtücher am Pool. Es gibt Steckdosen in Bettnähe und eine gute Ausstattung des Badezimmers.Das Hotel stellt alle halbe Stunde ein Hotel Shuttle Boot zur Verfügung.

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Rezeptionen uns einen Plan der Flussboote und und des Skytrain hätte zur Verfügung stellen können. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit wunderschönem Pool

Mein Lieblingshotel in Bangkok seit über 20 Jahren. Super Lage direkt am Fluß (Chao Praya Express Boat Haltestelle vor der Haustür). Streetfood vor der Haustür. Wunderschöner Pool in einem Garten mit altem Baumbestand und Swim-in Pool Bar. River City Center (Shopping, kleine Restaurans, Ablegestelle für Dinner Cruises) nebenan. ICON Siam gegenüber. Freundliches Personal.

Das Zimmer könnte eine gründliche Reinigung vertragen, war aber ok.

We just simply loved the view from our room… we got to see the beautiful river and icon siam mall … beautiful skyline.. we were in room 1906

Being on the inner side, we found it difficult getting a taxi or we had to really wait to get one

Always Top of The Range

We have been travelling to Bangkok for the last 25 years and one of the first hotels we chose for accommodation was the Royal Orchid Sheraton because of its proximity to the river, its facilities and its reputation as one of the best hotels in the city. We have stayed here about 20 times since and returned this time for the same reasons. We travel extensively and this is probably our favourite hotel in the world. It’s like coming back home. The comfort factor, the fabulous staff, the beautiful pools, gym and restaurants make the standard for the price hard to beat. We had the great pleasure of meeting David Lance the General Manager and Marco the Executive Chef on this visit and we were able to give them some very positive feedback about the great service we had experienced. Thank you Royal Orchid Sheraton. You never disappoint us and we can’t wait to visit again.

3 jours parfaits

Excellent emplacement, la vue sur la ville et l’autre berge est magnifique ainsi que les restaurants et piscines donnant sur le fleuve. Personnel, concierges très aimables. Petit plus, les 3 paons qui circulent entre les transats au bord de la piscine!

Peut-être moderniser un peu la décoration, mais cela reste très correct.

Very nice -but hotel needs a decor redo!

Location, staff, buffet breakfast, pool, outdoor dining options, boat to Icon Siam.

The property decor was tired. No walk in shower. Bathtub very high to step in. Our room was clean but other family said they’re had obvious wear and tear (they did complain and received compensation).

Wir sind jetzt das 2x dort gewesen. Aber kein drittes mal.

Lage am Fluss. Transport zur gegenüberliegenden Flussseite. Ausflugsziele schnell erreichbar.

Zimmermöbel in die Jahre gekommen. Toilettenspühlung defekt. Nicht immer ausreichendes Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Frühstücksraum ist laut. Das Frühstück ist nach meinem empfinden zu sehr auf Asiatische Besucher ausgerichtet. In einem 5 Sterne Hotel möchte ich mir den normalen Kaffee nicht selber holen müssen.

Top Hotel, Top Lage , uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen.

Lage der Unterkunft ist unschlagbar ,direkt am Fluss und die kulturellen Sehenwürdigkeiten sind sehr gut zu erreichen.( Wat Pho,Wat Arun , Königspalast) Personal thailandgemäß extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbüffet zum Preis von ca.18,-€ war ausreichend und völlig ok. Schöner Gartenpool zum entspannen. Ja das Hotel ist nicht Neueste, aber sauber und völlig ausreichend.

Hotel mit guter Lage und vielen Annehmlichkeiten

Das Hotel liegt in einer zentralen Lage und verfügt über zwei große Pools. Es gibt auch ein hoteleigenes Bootshuttle zum Iconsiam Einkaufszentrum. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und bietet eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Es ist ab 8 Uhr morgens sehr beliebt, aber das Personal füllt alles schnell nach. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung eingerichtet, sauber und haben bequeme Betten. Das Hotel ist sehr kinderfreundlich. Es gibt auch einen Kinderpool für die kleinsten. **Fazit** Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr genossen und würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Won't stay here anymore.

Lounge & staff in general.

Bathroom shower stall leaked into the main bathroom.. Had to wipe the floor after every shower. Aircondition just could not control. Water pressure not good. Room fixtures old and tired, seems like the original fixtures 40 years ago. NOTE : On Sunday the 3rd. there was a function in the hotel and all restaurants were booked. Could not eat anywhere. Was told to sit on Lobby Lounge for meal OR have room service. .... Why advertise that you have 4 restaurants !!

I enjoy the stay.

The view of Chao Praya from the room, especially early in the morning and at night. The ferry rides make it convenient to reach Icon Siam and the sky train.

It is a bit far off from the main city.

Very Dissappointing Hotel

The location was close to the canal and had a great view.

I always thought of Sheraton as a luxury hotel, but this hotel totally changed my view of Sheraton forever. The photos did not show the actual condition of the hotel. The hotel is too old, like 40 years old hotel without any signs of renovation. It's like an antique shop. You won't see those peacocks because I believe they died long ago. As for the rooms, the carpet, the toilet, and everything else was old and smelled moldy. The breakfast had little choices and was not good. I'm won't come back to this hotel ever and don't recommend it to anyone at this price. The management team of the hotel should be replaced and bring in new blood to remake the look of the hotel.
