The location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of Alfama but also close to lots of different shops, restaurants and miradouros. Also, the vibe at night over the weekend is awesome with locals watching the sunset, kicking around a football and just hanging out.
Bed is a little too soft (personal preference) and the room would benefit from air conditioning.

Fantastic apartment, great host really helpful and sorted out airport transfers. We had everything we needed and the location in Amalfi, the old town was great. Buses and trains easy to access if you don't want to walk everywhere. Plenty of great restaurants.
Shower cubicle was small, not so easy for larger people

The room was basic, and we had to ask for an iron since there wasn’t one in the apartment. We also had to report the toilet not flushing, twice, over our 4 night stay. On top of that, we had a mouse in the apartment. When we mentioned it, we were told it might have come in through an open window because of the June festival, but since we were on the second floor, that didn’t really make much sense to us.
Very basic setup – It lacked expected amenities like an iron.
Maintenance issues – The toilet didn't flush and needed to be reported twice.
Hygiene/pest issue – There was a mouse in the apartment, which is unsettling, especially since we were on the second floor.
