From the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away by W Koh Samui. The resort is absolutely breathtaking – honestly, even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The views, the villas, the beach, the pool and the entire atmosphere are stunning. It is one of those places that immediately makes you stop and say “wow.”
But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing team.
From the reception staff to the hotel management, everyone was exceptional. They were warm, professional, helpful and genuinely caring. Every request was handled quickly and efficiently, and whenever we needed assistance – even with personal matters that had nothing to do with the hotel itself – they went above and beyond to help us.
We travelled with our two young children, and the way the staff treated them was something we will always remember. Everyone gave them so much attention, kindness and love. They made the children feel comfortable and happy, and made all of us feel completely at home.
There is a huge difference between receiving good service and feeling that people genuinely care about you, and at W Koh Samui we felt that throughout our entire stay.
The hotel itself is spectacular, but the people are what make this place truly special. It is even more beautiful than the photos, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is something you really have to experience. We genuinely did not want to leave and would come back without hesitation.
Honestly, nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We had an absolutely amazing holiday at the W Koh Samui! From the moment we stepped foot on the property, the staff made us feel super welcome. A special shout-out to Nancy, who went above and beyond to arrange an early check-in for us. Being able to settle in early allowed us to start enjoying the hotel from the very first minute we arrived—a gesture we truly appreciated.
The accommodations were exceptional. Traveling with two kids can often feel cramped, but our room was incredibly spacious with plenty of room for all four of us. The views were breathtaking, overlooking the lush jungle stretching out to the sparkling ocean. It was super quiet, offering a high level of privacy that made it feel like our own exclusive retreat. Every single team member we interacted with was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay.
There were only two minor downsides worth noting:
-Beach Privacy: External visitors were somehow able to access the hotel beach, occupying sun benches and beach facilities intended for guests. Management might want to better secure access to the beach area so paying guests can fully enjoy the facilities.
-Dining Variety & Availability:
The resort only has two main restaurants—The Kitchen Table and the Japanese restaurant down by the beach for dinner. Since the hotel isn't within comfortable walking distance to outside dining options, choices feel a bit limited. The Japanese restaurant is quite small and gets fully booked very easily, so make sure to reserve your tables well in advance!
Despite these small drawbacks, the warmth of the staff and the sheer beauty of the resort made our family trip unforgettable. We would gladly return!

Staff we generally friendly.
Paid a hefty amount per night for the room , the room had a continuous drainage smell which the staff tried to fix but it reoccurred.
