Awesome clean and very friendly and helpful

Very handy to the central city. Was very clean and tidy very welcoming staying with my little dog. Left an item behind and Yvonne arranged to get it courier to me the next day

Would not recommend- felt very unsafe!

Location was great

General cleanliness was very poor. Mould on curtains and around windows. Shower also had mould and very bad mould around shower window. Not sure if they had more permanent residents living in units - but a bad look, kids getting push around on trikes by adults drinking at all hours of day and night. Noisey at night - a lot of yelling from tenants who were drinking outside. Grounds and buildings need a good spruce up.

wasn’t overly bad, good for a quick overnight trip.

very accomodating for late arrival, friendly staff. comfortable beds and everything you needed was in the room.

we had a cockroach in our room, which we had to get out. the room was averagely clean, there were a couple fighting across the drive in another room which kept us awake. cara driving in and out of the motel all night (didn’t sound like guests). we were awoken at 7am by wood-chippers next door, which isn’t a fault of the motel but added to the above.

You pay for what you get

Location is close to everything. Fair price.

The room we got seemed like the past guests were smoking in it. It had a foul smell. Neighbours were also quite noisy.

Very good

We loved it as it accommodated my family and and also my fur babies. Also it was central to everything that we wanted to do while staying there. Excellent hosts. Will definitely be going back. Thanks for everything Auckland New Market Motel.

Happy with accomodation and would stay here again. It's comfortable and convenient to everything.

I wasn't aware there was no kitchen but I should had looked into a bit more when I booked. But there was a jug and toaster area and a fridge. We were there for 2 nights so this was sufficient and we had takeaways.

Disappointing

I was in room 15 and the neighboring room was very loud banging doors till after midnight! so I didn’t get much sleep. other than this is was clean and a good room for an overnight stay.

the mattress was as hard as a rock. i’ve never experienced a mattress that bad before. tossed and turned throughout the entire night.

Superb

The staff were really wonderful, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, luxurious, clean and had sky., Free parking was available. The location was great - super convenient, and it made a big difference to our experience of auckland.

Getting into really tiny nitpicky things, it was hard to balance the hot water in the shower and there was relatively low pressure, but that is the case for most motels, and probably especially so in auckland.

Disappointing for what I paid.

The location was fine. There were good eateries within a good walk.

I was kept awake until 1.30am in the morning with karaoke going on outside my window. Then woken at 6.00am with more noise. Not a relaxing nights stay. The shower pressure was very poor, not a lot of water to shower with. Can't even my name correct.

Handy to Auckland hospital, and shops, comfortable and realitly clean, carparks too narrow.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, handy to amenities and unit was serviced for us. The car park is very narrow making getting in and out of the parks extremely difficult. The car parked next to us on the first night, back out and scraped the rear side of our car. They did not leave a note about this. The motel manager was able to find the incident on their CTV camera, however the offenders number plate was note visible. This has resulted in a $650 repair to our car.

We had a very noisy person/s upstairs above our unit in the evenings and early in the mornings. We had asked for a unit that was away from the main road, so we could have a quiet stay. This was granted, but the noise upstairs, we could not sleep. We were supporting a family member having major surgery from Tauranga, and we had come up from Hamilton. We where both tired and had hoped to have sound sleeps. However we phoned the office and someone spoke with the person upstairs and all went quiet, but the next night the nose was back. The bathroom floor was not very clean when we arrived.

As I was there with my dogs I loved the close, awesome dog walks. Studio was very spacious and the spa bath was great!

Nice accomodation at a good price.

Great location. Lovely room with large comfortable bed. Plenty of food options nearby. Walking distance to Alexandra Park.

Large Units and two bathrooms for my family. Were able to accomodate my little dog which was great

Cleanliness outside room was poor. Broken chairs left outside the property and dirty linen bags. Was there for two nights, we requested our room to be made up, it was done to a poor standard. They didnt make beds, just pulled the blankets up, nor clean the floors.
