Affordable and pleasant accomodation in a good location.

The property was in a great location and lovely grounds, the room was nicely presented and spacious, the bathroom was also large and had great hot water/ pressure. The rollaway cot wasn’t in our room when we checked in but this was quickly rectified which we appreciated.

Unfortunately the heating in our room wasn’t working; judging by the marking on the wall this is not a new issue. While the bed and remainder of the room was comfortable, it was quite cold. We only stayed one night so just rugged up with extra clothing and let housekeeping know on checking out the following morning.

The location

Mould in the top right hand corner of the room. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. No coffee left in the coffee room and wasn’t replenished. It seemed as though the cleaners had first preference to all the little extras we were looking forward to.
