5 bells is a bit out of the way, but that is its charm. They were very kind to me and my bicycle, giving me space to assemble the bike and store it securely.

Very friendly owner with a pub below the rooms. Nice and comfortable rooms. We stayed here the night before our ferry to Dunkirk. Dover is only a couple of minutes drive.
Carpet floors have seen better times, but still okay.

This could be such a great place to stay, the pub itself is really cute, the staff were friendly and the apparent was a great size, clean and had everything needed.
The double bed was so uncomfortable that I didn’t sleep a wink, at the slightest movement the squeaking is so loud. The apartment was also roasting, it was a heat wave so we expected it to be warm but no windows had been opened so it was like an oven when we walked in. We opened the windows when we arrived but the noise from the road was so loud that we had to shut them. It needs a fan or two.
