Nice welcome and friendly athmosphere. We were there for a wedding at the chateau, so we cannot comment on food. But it sounded good.
The village itself is not particularly interesting. But the chateau and its ground is really nice and worth a visit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spotless and comfortable although a little on the small size for 2 big adult cyclists (we had 4 rooms for 7 )

The room was big, there was a good amount of parking space and the bathroom was average to good.
In terms of cleaning it was quite decent.
Not sure if it was because the room was on the top floor near the roof, but there were no lights in the main room, only in the bathroom (sink + shower) and the separate toilet.
At night, I had to use my phone flashlight just to see inside the room, or leave the bathroom lights on, which was very inconvenient.
The second issue was the AC — it wasn’t working (or wasn’t available at all). The room was extremely hot, and I couldn’t sleep properly.
Being close to the roof might explain why it got so hot, but either way, it made for a very uncomfortable night.
