The complimentary access to the sauna, swimming facilities, gym, and bookable badminton court.
The breakfast is basic but in the best way. No need for a giant cake selection, when you have a waffle maker at your service.
Best bacon I had in a hotel in a long time, the fruits were all ripe and juicy.
What I also want to highlight (for trans foreigners mostly) while danish changing rooms can be intimidating, there are private stalls with toilets and showers available in the pool area, so you don't have to go bare before others (but you will not get around seeing naked people). I personally don't mind, and nobody cares if you are pre-op in the communal changing room/showers.
I say this mostly because the hotel is also a public sports complex. It goes a long way for anyone with anxiety or dysphoria, to know what changing facilities exist, what the gender policy is (having the law on your side is one thing, having a venue state that they will be on your side is another), have a map of the water and wellness areas available, and if questions arise beforehand, please answer them.
An email (unaffiliated with this accountI sent beforehand to inquire about their policy towards trans people was not answered. So I walked into that changing room blind, instead of reassured. That is my only real complaint.
P.s. 20 sqm is a bit too tight for 4 people without good ventilation.
