Proper bedding was not provided! There was a bottom sheet but no top sheet or blanket to sleep under. The only thing was a decorative velvet throw on each bed which actually turned out to be a curtain (an identical one is hanging in the bathroom and there were holes for the curtain pole). It was obviously not the correct size for the bed or particularly nice to lie under. I am just glad I had my own sleeping bag but not everyone will.
I have stayed in many many hostels and this is the only place where I have not been provided at least a sheet to sleep under.. and at £26 for a dorm? Not even covering the basics..
It’s fairly close to the airport which is the only reason I stayed.

The people! Our room was really big and comfortable. Nice meals. Not a la carte, whatever the chef is preparing. Close to the ocean and we saw a dolphin!
Would have enjoyed maybe a bit more water pressure in the shower.

Great location in a quiet residential neighbourhood. the staff were excellent. very efficient and friendly.
My room was a little cell like. One window that was barred. I was only there for one night so not a big deal.

The owners were just lovely. I felt so well taken care of when staying there. The food is great and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Lovely warm welcome as soon as we arrived, felt comfortable and at home. Bedroom spacious with great AC, communal terrace made it easy to chat to other travellers. Beers in the fridge for purchase and an amazing breakfast in the morning, also drove us to the water taxi station the next day. Not much around, although did have a good dinner in a nearby restaurant and there's a supermarket close by, but perfect for us! Would highly recommend for a home from home feeling :)

A bit expensive...but I guess everything in Belize is expensive...not near in the city centre if city centre exists..
Good breakfast and dinner again price is pricey or for some reasonable...
Dorm is not full so it was a good 2 nights stay..
I took the city tour for 1 hr for 40USD though Lewis took my photos to some signage of Belize...but nothing really to showcase, just disappointed and I felt I wasted 40 USD...

Julia and Louis are the best, very professional, friendly & knowledge about the area and activities. This was my second stay at the Red Hut Inn and both times they made me feel like family. Oh, make sure to have breakfast and dinner. Louis' cooking is the greatest.

Awful place and 5%extra payment had been charged on credit card to pay by credit card.
The room was on the ground floor (garage floor) of a small villa. The small broom of the room (referred to as the "suite") looked out into an atrium with a wall. The dinner was neither good nor plentiful. Experience to forget !! It is impossible to vhd a place like this to exhibit such a high booking score !!

The beds were comfortable and the food they served was tasty.
It was really too expensive for what they offer. No hot shower, really bad WiFi, no free water, expensive shuttle services. They let me pay 110 BZD for a private shuttle to Chetumal, there was no other option but to get public transportation and they made it seems as it would be a big hassle. I took the shuttle and the driver told me he only got payed 60 BZD to drive me. I thought that was really unfair to him.

Lewis and Julia went out of their way to ensure everyone’s needs were met. the breakfasts were wonderful (I’m sure the dinners were too but I just eat breakfast and lunch).
they took me to and from various places I either wanted or needed to go to; always at my schedule - and they were just nice people to boot!
There’s nothing not to like about the property itself as it’s very welcoming, you will likely need a taxi, which they provide, if you’re going to go anywhere.

Offered pick up services directly from boat harbor for folks coming from Caye Caulker, great service. Also offered transport to bus station. Both were extra charges.
I booked a room ahead of time on Booking.com and when my plans changed and I requested to cancel my reservation a few days ahead of time, I was told that cancellation needed to happen 2 weeks out (other hostels were able to accomodate my plans changing much better)
