The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the hot tub and sauna. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Lambastadir Guesthouse: being at someone's farm, taking off our shoes and leaving them in the front room while in the guesthouse, the location (so close to Sellfoss and many of the sights of the busy Golden Circle, but still in the quiet countryside), beautiful nature and green fields that we saw from our bedroom window. The room was relatively basic (it had no TV, which the kids were shocked about, but we loved :D) but spacious enough and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, with savoury options, a waffle machine and homemade rhubarb jam on offer. I would like to thank once again the lovely young man working in the guesthouse for his help in planning our day trips and giving us first-hand suggestions and recommendations of lesser known places that we might have otherwise not seen. We also loved talking to him about Iceland and his experiences in the country (as he is originally from Poland). I am so sorry we didn't ask for his name, but he was very helpful and we loved our morning chats with him. So thank you! All in all, our stay was so pleasant and relaxed, we would recommend Lambastadir to everyone and definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was pretty good. The couple who staffed breakfast were very helpful and friendly.
The advertising for this guesthouse made it seem like a farm-stay, and instead it was a separate guesthouse.
