The location is great it’s close to all amenities, including North City Mall and the shops around Mungavin. It’s also not far from the motorway, making it really convenient to get into the city.
The shower pressure was so good, and the bedroom and apartment were very spacious. I also really appreciated the regular daily cleaning.
I would definitely book here again!
At night it was quite noisy, as the motel is close to the main road, but nothing that some white noise or headphones couldn’t fix.
One thing that would be helpful is a “Do Not Disturb” or “No Cleaning Required” sign for the door. A cleaning lady walked into my room while I was there, which caught me off guard as I was getting ready. She apologised, gave me what I needed and left, so it was handled well, but a sign would help avoid this happening.
It would also be nice to have a small scrub brush for the dishes, as we only had a cloth, which made cleaning them a little difficult.
Otherwise, everything was good and I enjoyed my stay.

Liked the convenience to the North City shopping centre and the motorway into Wellington if you are connecting to the Interislander Ferry. Very clean and tidy facilities and parking right outside your unit.
Stayed in a one bedroom unit which had a spa bath with a shower over it. The bath had quite high sides without a grab handle for safety to stand in the bath to have a shower. It could be a problem for someone elderly or handicapped. I mentioned this to one of the cleaning staff on departure and apparently the two bedroom and studio units have walk in showers.
