Beautiful hotel. Lovely setting. Spacious and well-equipped, very nice rooms. Close to Grasse (a 30 min walk or short drive). A great base for that area of southern france.
Service was not consistent. Some of the staff, including a lovely man on reception, were incredibly helpful. Others, such as a lady who checked us out, were not. We had a situation where we did not know if breakfast was included in our room rate. We called down to the reception on our first day and was asked for our room number, name and they told us it was. When we checked out, we were charged for breakfast. We explained what happened but the lady refused to acknowledge what happened and maintained we should have known it was not, therefore it was our fault. Lots of back of forth and she eventually removed the charge but we sadly left feeling the brunt of a very bad and rude attitude. She was a very bad representative of the hotel and sadly over-ruled the previous kind, gracious and lovely service we had received.

The property was lovely. The view was great. The pool was very nice.
Details were missed things like the faucet on one of the sinks didn’t work Couldn’t get back into the property in the evening because the light was burned out by the call button for the gate

Beautiful building, restaurant and pool area surrounded by large estate.
We stayed for three nights and and there were to few choices on the menu at the restaurant for a three nights stay. If you took the 4 course dinner there were only 2 dishes to choose between at each course. After the first dinner we had tasted the courses we wanted and didn’t want to have the same again.
Not allowed to have anything at the pool from the room service menu even there were a table we could sit at. Offered to sit at dirty tables in the woods together with bugs or eat in our room. Dined to have room service around 16.00, even it was written in the information folder in the room that is was open all day until midnight. We had also told the receptionists that we wanted to order earlier that day and no one informed us about a time limit. If we had known we would have ordered earlier. After a very unpleasant conversational at the reception, they admitted that is was written that you could have room service all day until midnight. At the end we got two club sandwiches to eat in our room.
