Colazione buona. Climatizzazione stanza ok. Bagno confortevole, doccia ok. Un bel giardino esterno con un ulivo al centro e una parte coperta dove mangiare e rilassarsi. L'abitazione è bella all'esterno e all'interno, con scelte d'arredo di buon gusto, Posizione molto comoda vicina al centro per visitare Grasse. Una cosa da sapere è che la casa dove si viene ospitati è comune all'ospite ovvero, pur con grande disponibilità da parte di Yvan, persona gentilissima che ti accoglie nel miglior modo possibile, va precisato che verrà condivisa la cucina, la zona giorno e il giardino. La parte completamente privata è quella relativa alla camera da letto e al bagno.
In ogni caso dividere gli spazi con Yvan è stato piacevole dal momento che è una persona squisita, molto simpatica e ti lascia tutto lo spazio possibile per vivere bene la sua bella casa.
Un grazie particolare per averci atteso fino a tarda ora il giorno del nostro arrivo e di essersi offerto di portare a peso
le nostre biciclette fino all'abitazione!
Non so quanto sia migliorabile dall'host il fatto che da dove si parcheggia l'auto (parcheggio privato aperto su una strada secondaria) non sia comodo salire all'abitazione posta con unico ingresso 40 gradini soprastanti. Abbiamo portato con noi 2 e-bikes e a parte per il bagaglio non considero consigliabile arrivare in questa proprietà con biciclette da mettere in un posto sicuro o quantomeno comodo. Su Booking non mi pare si faccia menzione di questo possibile inconveniente e proprio per questa mancanza di comunicazione il voto relativo ad alcuni servizi non è molto alto.
Mi permetto di segnalare che la colazione compresa non è come da fotografia con formaggi e salumi ma è di tipo continentale. Dopodichè Ivan mette a disposizione tutto quello che ha, comprese le sue ottime confetture, le bevande
e i prodotti del suo giardino.

Es ist alles mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und der Garten lädt nach dem Stadtbummel zum Erholen ein, einfach schön, das Frühstück und die abendliche Überraschung von Yvan waren auch was ganz besonderes, man fühlt sich wirklich herzlich umsorgt 🫶

Coming to France is always wonderful, but La Thebaide made the experience even greater. Living in this country-side house, with the lush and peaceful garden, and the cozy owners Claire and Yvan, was one our best stays ever. It’s exactly as you imagine life in “the French country side”, it’s just perfect! You can feel that this is a place where Claire and Yvan put their soul, hard work, and attention to. I couldn’t imagine going to Grasse and not staying here, especially if you’re living in a hotel. How much of the French spirit you would miss :)

The room -with bathroom and laundry facilities was a generous size.
It was a nice property & nice hosts -but without a car the location wasn’t great. There were no nearby cafes or restaurants open for dinner to walk to & it was a fairly long walk from the station with luggage( uphill ).
