Could be much better

Location. The Asian reception guy was lovely and very helpfull. Tried his very best to explain the currency exchange rate to me in relation to my bill. Where from Melbourne.

House Cleaning Very Poor Came back to our room to find bed not made. Floor not vacuumed, bathroom floor not moped, bathroom mirror not cleaned, washing machine still had flint in it,so cleaned it myself before using it. Dishes not washed & put away. What they did do was gave us fresh towels restocked the tea & coffee station restocked the milk in fridge, & supplied a clean teatowel & dishcloth plus a new sachets of dish washing liquid, & supplied new sachets for the washing machine. Place looks tired. lift looked like someone had spilt coffee & it hadn't been cleaned up. The carpets are quite stained in hallways & rooms, they need replacing. We had no windows in our room that was awful when we pulled back curtains we were surrounded by other buildings looking into our room so curtains remained closed. No air ventilation in bathroom so after a shower you steeped out into the mist.when entering the room the door wouldn't shut without you having to pull it very hard causing it to slam. Perhaps an upgrade maybe nicer. 🙃

Enjoyed it, great pity about the overly hot room and poor air conditioning

The room was very hot and the air conditioning unit was not at all effective in cooling the room. It was on a setting which couldn't be adjusted to a cooler temperature. Very unsatisfactory. I would never stay in summer. That was a real pity as the rest of the room, service , location was great.

CLOSE AND CONVENIENT

Great location, safe. The room was awesome, having a washer and dryer, full kitchen was a bonus. Soundproof awesome! best sleep. Special price with an upgrade. One of the best places to stay

Close to other building, need net curtain or shade, for privacy, and still be able to leave the drapes opened, other than this, everything was awesome!

Convenient and comfortable.

Big, spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The beds were really comfortable and the showers were great. Reception and housekeeping staff were all very helpful and friendly.

It was a perfect apartment for a week long stay. It was central and had all the amenities you could need.

It was perfect for my week long stay in Auckland. It was one block away from a bus transit and the sky tower. Plus a literal 5-10 minute walk ti the wharf and queen st where there was heaps of shops. The apartment had a kitchenette, including a stovetop, which was perfect for cooking simple meals.

The hotel is next to a church, and they get really noisy around religious holidays. So bad timing on my part, but the bells rang for a whole hour straight between 8pm-9pm which was quite unfortunate. Not the hotels fault, but quite inconvenient.

Point to sky tower

Nice rooms, comfy bed, great shower and view of sky tower. We stayed to attend a concert at spark and everything we needed was walking distance, including public transport/airport bus.

A bit noisy from the street noise at night, but not too bad given the location.

Friendly and convenient

Suite is spacious and kitchen had what I needed (I didn't cook). Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and when I had an issue with my key card after hours i was able to reach the duty manager easily and he came down to help me right away. Location is great, just across the street from where the airport bus arrives and leaves (note: the SkyDrive airport bus missed two of its scheduled departures on the day I left, so I and a few other passengers got an Uber to the airport). It's a 10 min walk down to the water where there are lots of restaurants and great shops and the ferry terminal. The grocery store below the hotel is well-stocked and carries lots of traveller-friendly food.

The washing machine was not particularly effective at spinning the clothes dry. The bed was not bad, but not the most comfortable bed ever.

Exceptionally good stay near the centre of town.

Staff very friendly and helpful when I arrived after normal hours. Very spacious room with good facilities. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Quiet despite being on a busy street.

disappointing - hopefully our stay here for 2 nights at the end of this month will not see these problems repeated.

location, rate and comfort of room

carpets, walls, fridge, all badly marked or dented. Handle missing on cupboard above wardrobe. poor condition compared to apartment we stayed in a few weeks previous. Air Con not working. my wife called reception to have this remedied and was told it would be seen to. we then went out for the evening and on our return a few hours later it was still not working. very poor as we could not even turn the ac off or make adjustment. we had to check out early (8am) for hospital appointment, but nobody on front desk we could complain to.

This is a very comfortable place to stay with a convenient location - a real value.

Our room was actually a comfortable little apartment with the conveniences of a kitchenette (with sitting area) and laundry appliances. We were able to walk to the harbor, and the Sky Tower was on the next block.

good location but confirm with staff not to book you next to construction activities

quite close to sky tower and easy check in. receptionist was very polite and was quite prompt in handling out requests.

would have liked if i had been notified there was a construction going in front as our room was next to it after booking.

A great room, not good if you want to sleep.

It was in a good location and we found the staff friendly. The room was large, and had really good facilities..There was also a few free drink options, tea and coffee. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer, which was really useful. They also supplied free cleaning powder etc.

The noise, the only thing that spoiled our stay, and how noisy it was. There is no double glazing so you could hear every loud car and noise in the street. We were woken at 4.30 each morning by a car leaving the garage begind with a ridiculous exhaust.
