The staff are very friendly and gave us tips on things to do, like where to go swimming in the river (safely!). The location is good for hiking around the Wasserschloss and visiting the Roman remains.
It happened to be very hot while we were there and the hotel has no air conditioning. At other times that would probably not matter much.

The location at the heart of Brugg is perfect. The Hotel has a nice restaurant as well with good quality Italian food. The room was simple and functional. The staff was very nice.
The breakfast could be improved with more choice and variety in the products.
