This is an old favorite of mine. Absolutely beautiful resort built into the mountain overlooking the sea.
Nothing really. They have a few obnoxious monkeys lingering about, but nothing serious.

A beautiful setting in the national park.
We loved the infinity pool and the view across the sea. The planting was beautiful and the rooms were styled in a way that reflected the local style.
It was often difficult to find staff members to order a drink from in the bar areas.
Some areas felt a little forgotten about and unloved - we found smashed glass by the garden pool one day.

The room was huge, with an amazing open air bathroom. The bath was perfect for an evening soak and I enjoyed the companionship of local lizards and frogs. The big balcony had a wide day bed, great for reading and relaxing. The infinity pool area was quiet and the lounger beds were very comfortable, with power points for charging phones. The restaurant overlooking the ocean had a fabulous sunset view along with delicious food and drink.
While I wasn't bothered too much, the local monkeys knew humans meant food and snatched eggs from my breakfast plate one morning. They also tried to get in my room so you have to make sure all doors and windows are locked. The staff do their best to deter them though and as the restaurant backs onto a national park, you can't blame the hotel for wild animals.
