Very peaceful and relaxing environment for recharging.

Quaint but very quiet location. Nice little private beach. Very comfortable bed. Friendly owner/staff: provided a ton of helpful information. If you want a quiet peaceful stay, this area and property definitely worth it.

Ça vaut CARRÉMENT le détour !

Superbe endroit, à taille humaine, au calme mais avec toutes les commodités locales à proximité. Toai, sa femme et son personnel sont très serviables et à la disposition de leurs hôtes et nous donnent toutes les informations utiles pour le séjour. Nous avions réservé une chambre face à la mer, un régal ! Des vélos sont à disposition gratuitement. Nous n'avons pas eu l'opportunité de prendre des repas à la résidence mais, en regard de la haute qualité culinaire sur l'île, je ne doute pas qu'elle soit très bonne ! Ce nid douillet et pied à terre durant 10 jours nous a permis de nous ressourcer, avec tous les magnifiques paysages vus et découverts, les étoiles de mer, les levers et couchers de soleil, les temples, les fêtes et karaoké et le plus formidable, les gens (même s'ils conduisent ultra dangereusement leurs scooters !). Pour des européens, c'est très dépaysant ; venez au Vietnam, vous serez émerveillés (et faites un détour au Hula Hula beachfront Phu Quoc) Merci pour tout Toai, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir chez vous si nous revenons sur l'île 🥹

Beachfront location, free use of kayaks and snorkeling equipment, crystal clear sea, readily accessible reef. Owner was very helpful and provided lots of advice and assistance.

Great place with snorkelling right from your front door

Great place! We had a beach front property so could go snorkelling from our front door. Snorkelling in Vietnam is not as good as in some other places, but being able to just wade in and go snorkelling was great.

Great and very supportive owner and manager

The owner and manager Toai is super helpful. He seems to be on call 24/7. We had a little problem with our aircon and he personably came at 09:00 pm to fix it. He helped us with renting motorbikes and once we had a small problem he made sure he got the shop to fix it asap Earlier comments stated that the breakfast was not prepared on the site. In our time Toai himself made Omelette and other food fresh in the restaurant We never had any problem with the nice dogs. There was really good WIFI and Toai responded super fast to WhatsApp The region is not so crowded with tourists which we felt being an advantage We had a great time

Good location and value but very restrictive in terms of food.

Good location, it has beach facing villas that give access to water, swimming and snorkeling

The property doesn’t seem to have a kitchen of its own yet it gives breakfast. Due to this they ask you to fill in a form one day prior to having breakfast of what you would like to eat. If you need anything else, you won’t have it. Secondly, they even ask you to enter a time for breakfast one day in advance, which if you miss even by 30 mins, you will either get not get your breakfast or you would get breakfast that is kept aside in a unhygienic place (was the situation in our case) as we found hundreds of ants crawling out of our breakfast. There is only one person managing most of the stuff at the property. I would advise to hire more people to take care of the day to day management.

Not much to be honest

The property is apart of another property. Despite booking with Hula, the owner put us in a room with the other property and said nothing about it being another property. After we left for the airport on the last day I received an email saying the owner cancelled my stay, suggesting I was a no show for check in. Also, there is no food on the property. The owner gives you a menu where he orders a delivery from, overcharges you while it was also terrible. The swimming pool was completely green and the lights flickered on and off in our room all night like a strobe.

Relaxing atmo, beautiful nature ,good service

Peaceful and quiet environment, feels like living in a paradise. Very comfortable beds, they even provided kitchen for cooking your own food. I got sick during my stay there and the staff was kind enough to help me with what I needed. At night the stars are so bright and sea is so clean and has small coral reef and many fish 😍

It is really far from the center of the city but i came for escaping from the city so it is fine :)

What not to like it! Perfect place for a getaway and relax.. owner is amazing and helpful all the time and made us feel at home ... pool at night is a must ... Definitely coming back and bringing friends for a fun week asap. Tips: Have a international driver's license so can rent a car as the island is huge and takes couple hours to cross from one side to the other. Night shows are just unreal and can't be missed

The Bed was extremly comfortable, nice room. The owner is really nice and helpful. Beach is great as well.

You'll definitely need a scooter to get around. The dogs of the property are a bit scary.. protecting their property a little bit too good.

Fantastic value for money, very peaceful and beautiful with a great host.

Amazingly quiet, had its own private beach which was incredible. Great staff and the owner was brresponded quickly and provided everything we needed.

The hotel does not have a restaurant so to eat out meant having to rent a motorbike but this was manageable as long as you identify restaurants before: We recommend the Wooden House- only 2 minute drive away and part of the Gold Coast resort- incredible views and food.

Fantastic stay in a very nice hotel!

Fantastic stay in a very good hotel, directly on the beach! Nice swimming pool, decent breakfast. Very good room service, everything is just fine. The hotel owner is a very nice/helpful person, very much appreciated! Just fantastic place. One should mention that the beach belonging to the hotel is a bit small, and due to winds the water might become muddy. But, one can swim/walk just some 50 meters to the right and one gets to a nicer beach. Also, one can cycle just 1 km (10 minutes max) to the Gold Coast ressort, they have a very nice beach, accesssible to everybody, also a nice restaurant there for lunches/dinners. Highly recommended.

see above a comment on the beam which belongs to the hotel. However, an easy solution is available, thus this issue didn't disturb me at all.

Great owner and friendly people. It is not situated in place, where you find lot of restaurants etc., its really quiet and peaceful, with its own little beach, which is amazing. Great place for relaxing. The owner really take good care of the property and really went beyond with making our stay as great as possible. Also they have beautiful dogs :). Very pleasant stay.

nice stay once you get a bike to move around.

nice, well organized place

the construction next door was noisy. some of the services are a bit overpriced. 200k for a bike rental and 100 k for a kg of laundry. snorkeling gear and kayaks that are provided for free are not in good shape. breakfast options were ok but all of them were cold at serving.

We liked everything...booked for one night but stayed one week . The rooms are fabulous... everything works well and the king size beds are the best we have had in 6 months South east Asia travels. We love all the facilities...free use of kayaks bicycles and snorkel gear. Great pool and cushioned loungers too. We did not use the ordered food service...but found great places to eat in the neighbourhood. Superb fine dining at nearby Peppercorn... The host here communicates very well....no confusion here..First time ten out of ten from me!

There is fish sauce making going on in the village...can get a bit stinky in the neighbourhood occasionally...but the gardening staff also waters the plants with some pretty foul smelling black water as well....

Has onsite motorbike rent Clean bedroom and roomy bathroom, has mozzies net. Short walk to Ganh Dau beach, plenty of food & seafood choice. Kayaks and floaters available to use, clean decent sized pool. Friendly owners, was a very nice stay 😃 Can see Cambodia mountains from beachfront.

Everything! Just Everything! The best stay I've ever booked! Clean Blue Water Front and Amazing Amenities. Best place for Kayaking and Snorkeling! Very Peaceful & Cozy Place. Very Friendly & Supportive Owner/Staff. Definitely planning to stay here, on my next trip to Phú Quõc.

The only reason why I want to come back to Phu Quoc, Great place, great owner, great location

Located at the best part of Phu Quoc. With many construction happening at the moment, this area is the untouched and we get to experience the island getting around like the local. Hula Hula offer reasonable price and great location. The owner and his wife is a very good host and always helpful. Beach area is small but clean, perfect area for my 2 years old to play. The sea is rough when we were there, but water was crystal clear. Very near to Safari which is the no 1 activity we plan for our toddler.

Relaxing low-key place on the beach.

The room was basic but the bed was so comfortable. The ocean view from our room was wonderful. The owner and his family are really lovely and helpful, and he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed--motorbike rental, food delivery, laundry, etc. We originally planned to stay 4 nights but ended up staying for 6 because we were so relaxed.

The breakfast could be better. You have to order what you want the night before and schedule a time, so it is prepared when you arrive--unfortunately the eggs were often made in advance and were stone cold, and butter seems to be doled out in teaspoons. But the Vietnamese breakfast foods were very good. Despite what the hotel description says, there isn't a restaurant on site that serves food--you have to order in. However, just down the beach road a bit there is a very good restaurant at a different resort. If you have a motorbike or feel like walking, there are some good places to eat in the village.

Cozy, family-run resort with loud neighbours

This is a cozy, no-frills family-run resort. The owner provided top-notch service, the rooms were spacious and adequately clean (with some lizards and ants), and the food was affordable and delicious.

The only downsides are that the beach is small (it's more of a sandbox), and the neighbouring local residence has a habit of singing obnoxiously loud and tone-deaf karaoke late at night and in the early morning.

Amazing place to chill on the north of Phu Quoc. Host is a very kind and helpful person, trying his best for all the quests! 4 friendly dogs are just a bonus for sure, very cuddly! We didnt hear them at night at all, they are locked after 10 pm in the owner's room 😊

Absolutely recommended!

We stayed in Hula Hula 6 nights and they were truly the best Christmas holidays on the island we could have wished for. Very friendly, taking care and hardworking owner, tasty breakfast, cute dogs, own beach & sea view, possibility to rent a bike for free to discover the town and surroundings, quiet neighborhood and much more..

No negatives at all.

Lastly, I would like to emphasise that the owner of this property is a very respectable person. He has a very warm heart. If I travel to Phu Quoc again, I will definitely visit this property.
