Blabjorg Resort

My compliments go out to chefs in the kitchen. Dinner fish entrees were cooked to perfection. Wonderful fresh and baked goodness at the breakfast buffet. Our accommodations overlooking the bay were fantastic! Great linens, decor and cleanliness!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn’t like that I couldn’t stay longer to linger with the local craft beers!

The breakfast was fantastic. I had an awesome view of the harbor from my window.

Better signage. Confusing to find.

Fabulous location next to the waters edge with great views. The room was spacious, clean and cosy with very nice decor, the bathroom room and shower were also nice. The restaurant was excellent, we had lovely evening meal and breakfast and there is also the KHB brewery tap room next door. We also used the spa facility which was very good. We could also park right outside our room which made getting bags in and out super easy.

Nothing

View of the ocean, location to Ring Road, proximity to the puffins.

Advertising! This is listed as a "premium seaside retreat and spa", when in actuality its set up like a hostel with shared bathrooms, extremely simple bedrooms, and pricing that does not match the accommodations. For example, a room explained as a "double" for two people is a double bed with two duvets vs. two beds and is charged as an upgrade over a single double bed room. Our fault for not reading the descriptions better. We were using a booking website vs. the resort website which is much more descriptive. Everything is an upgrade. Hot tub is considered a "Spa" amenity and charged. Staff were stretched thin and doing everything from running the spa, doing check-in's, waiting on tables in the restaurant, to taking complaints. People in the shared spaces were rude and sloppy. The bathrooms had used towels on the floor and water everywhere that had to be cleaned up (by you) before using. In the common space people were loud and inconsiderate of others, talking on phones, yelling to one another, and taking up the entire space for making meals like it was their home kitchen.
