Wonderful hotel. Comfortable room, cozy setting, fresh remodeling, very, very friendly staff. Restaurant is wonderful.

We had stayed at this hotel seven years ago and absolutely loved it, which was the main reason we decided to return. At that time, we were given an upgrade and had a beautiful, very comfortable and extremely quiet room. There were also fewer guests, and the whole atmosphere felt peaceful and relaxing. That wonderful previous experience naturally meant that we returned with very high expectations.
Unfortunately, our expectations were not met this time. Our room was quite close to the entrance and reception area. The room itself was a normal size and generally fine, but the window faced the car park.
In the evening, there was also quite a lot of noise from the neighbouring room, where the television was on loudly for a long time. In addition, we could hear noise coming from the reception and entrance area. Overall, the room was much less quiet and relaxing than we had remembered from our previous stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Breiddalsvik! The whole hotel was cozy, warm , and so comfortable. The lounge was great and we ate (the dinner we brought) in the eating area. We kept our small cooler in the refrigerator overnight which kept everything cold. The breakfast was very delicious and we loved the porridge and bread. A special shout out to Sofia at the front desk. She was so personable + helpful, nice to talk to, learned that she speaks 5 languages, and did us a breakfast favor!
