So near to the river, plenty of parking. Very friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.

This is the second time we have stayed here in 2 months, so we knew what to expect. Una and her team are really lovely people and extremely helpful. Our room (No 1) was large and very comfortable, the bed and pillows were divine. Tea and coffee making facilities added to our comfort as did the relaxing soft armchairs. The river view was exceptional. The food was good too.
Slight niggle was the fact that when I was queing to ask for more milk for our room another customer pushed in saying her drink was flat. The female assistant serving, served her stright away, which I was irritated about. The staff member should have served those in the queue first and asked the woman to wait. When I mentioned this, the staff member said she didn't see me/realise??? Another slight niggle/disappointment was that my fillet steak was overcooked. I asked for medium to well done and got extremely well done. No-one came to ask if the meal was alright until after we had finished, by that time I had struggled though the steak.
