We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. From the very beginning, the young lady at reception was exceptionally kind, polite, and attentive. She took great care of our family and arranged a stunning, spacious room with comfortable sleeping arrangements for every family member. Her warm and professional service made us feel truly welcome. The room was luxurious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Every detail reflected the high quality of the hotel, from the Dyson appliances to the beautiful Byredo toiletries. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great selection of delicious food.

We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort, and it is an excellent choice for families. The swimming pools are fantastic and highly enjoyable for children, but the absolute highlight of the resort is the beautiful private beach. The hotel rooms are also a very decent and comfortable size.
A couple of areas could be improved for a better guest experience. First, we wish there were more poolside food and drink selections tailored for international travelers. It is not easy for overseas guests to order via Meituan, so having more robust in-house options would be a huge plus.
Second, the check-in process took a long time. While I understand the hotel was running a full house, management should anticipate these peak periods in advance by allocating more staff or offering alternative check-in arrangements. On the bright side, we were allowed to spend time at the pool while waiting for our room to be ready, which made the wait much more pleasant.

The room was spacious and clean
We didn’t have a hot tub or the executive lounge which we paid for, room service was very very slow, the food was cold, only 1 pool open which was the kids pool, overall very very poor
