We really enjoyed our stay at Gringo Bill’s. The location is excellent, just steps from the main square in Aguas Calientes, making it very convenient for exploring town and visiting Machu Picchu.
Breakfast was great, and our room was comfortable and very nice. What really makes the hotel memorable is its unique design—it’s built on many different levels with an interesting mix of construction styles that gives the property a lot of character.
A charming, convenient, and truly unique place to stay in Aguas Calientes.

Room had a great view and comfy bed. The breakfast was a nice start to the day. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Great location, comfortable bedding. We had a big room (we were upgraded) with a balcony that had magnificent views. The staff were very helpful & met us at the train station & assisted us in getting our suitcases to the hotel.
Breakfast was sufficient
We had 2 rooms, one of which had no hot water & some of the power points did not work. Staff attempted to fix.

The catacombs of the buildings - up and down, right, left, upstairs, then left and downstairs to find your room.
The floor was dusty. There were no locks on the toilet door. There was a window to the corridor with transparent curtains- not a great experience in terms of privacy
