Great facility in a very convenient location, right across from the train station. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and our room overlooked the river, which made the stay feel especially unique and enjoyable.
I’d say the breakfast was not the best, especially considering it was in Peru. That said, it’s worth keeping in mind that breakfast starts as early as 5 AM since most guests are heading to Machu Picchu. It works well for a quick bite before an early start, but I’d recommend keeping your expectations relatively low.

The room was very big and comfortable with an amazing bubble bath.
A few mosquitos in the room but the staff had put some repellant mosquitos products so it was quite ok.

Central hotel in Aguas Calientes, a good basis to visit Machu Picchu, as it's a short walk to the buses that take you there. Although it's very centrally located, it's not easy to find when arriving to the train station, as you're surrounded by market alleys. Luckily, the hotel personnel is happy to pick you up and help you with luggage, they were there in minutes after we call.
Our rooms were very spacious and the beds super comfortable. Bathroom is large, spotless clean, with separate shower and a jacuzzi bath, very welcome after hiking. Breakfast had different options each day, and the views to the river are lovely.
There's a spa in the hotel where we had the best feet/leg massage ever! don't be put off by the simple look and a bit of moldy smell of the spa common areas (it's located in the underground areas, so humid), the private room were you get the massage are lovely, quiet and looking at the river. It's possible to get room service from a restaurant closeby, which has lovely food and excellent service. Personnel was kind and very helpful, also arranging for laundry service at a good price.
We didn't realize we booked rooms with street view, which is very loud, day and night. Not a big deal, but to keep in mind for light sleepers. Rooms looking over the river must be more quiet (hearing the water sound), but we didn't get to check them. Also to keep in mind, mosquitos attack massively as soon as sun goes down. So with that and the noise, it's not recommended to open the windows at all. Luckily, there were ventilators provided, as nights can get warm, but it'd be good if the windows had nets to protect from insects and enable opening.
Common areas are small and basic, so not a place were you would like to hang out if not in your room.
