Lovely couple at check in/reception. Very polite, cheerful and helpful including about local attractions. They are clearly hard working.

Centre of town at a great price

Great location in the middle of town with onsite parking.

A little dated, but for the price certainty cant complain.

Great for Lake and local amenities

Close to Lake and shops. Area to sit outside. Easy check in. Good service. Would stay there again.

Some areas of room a bit cramped ie the cooking area and we had an extra bed we did not require meaning sofa right up to tv. Few cobwebs/ dust trails.

Enjoyed our stay very handy to bars and restaurants and supermarket next door.

The woman at the reception is very kind and helpful. The motel is very close to the lake. Smart TV Pretty quiet

for what it cost, it wasn’t half bad

wonderful location, close to pubs/restaurants and new world next door

the bathroom is in need of a little tlc, bedcover could do with a wash

Close to lake front.

Check in very uninspiring with main emphasis on taking payment. Very tight parking. The room looked tired bordering shabby. Could overhear next door's telephone conversation in the evening despite door and windows shut.The shower became a loud drip drip throughout the night despite effort with the shower control Feeling somewat relieved to be leaving the next morning after a poor nights sleep, I was unsure where to report the dripping shower. That's when I looked under the bed to find an item of infants underwear left by a previous family. I found the emergency contact number on the reception door which I phoned. I was thanked for letting her know. I also had a chat with the incoming cleaner. In synopsis, this was a disappointing stay in an establishment which in my opinion needs a lot of work to bring it up to acceptable standards. I did stay here some years ago and left a more favourable review prompting this booking but I wouldn't stay here again

fabulous and well priced

location brilliant in the centre of Wanaka, room large enough a little cold but it was very, very cold and bed comfortable

distance to bus stop and they were mean bus drivers as they drove past the Aspiring and wouldn't pick us up there

Wouldn’t recommend for a long stay.

It’s central location

On the ground floor people knock on the window when you are in the bathroom. The shower had a curtail that didn’t reach the floor and water traveled outside the shower basin. The shower basin didn’t drain properly. Parking is tight

Overall a good stay - facilities a bit tired looking though in bathroom and couch in bed room

Arranged an 11 am checkout for me and my boys - had two units booked . I had a meeting on morning of checkout so left the boys to sleep in (all teenagers ) and they were going to be up and packed by 11am , but a staff member went into their room and told them they had to be up and out just after 10am, so put a bit of panic on them .
