Very friendly and professional reception. Every thing we might think of were supplied before we could ask. Had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. They went out of their way to accommodate us as we had to leave quite early the next morning .
Nothing to dislike here. Go and experience for yourself!

The rooms in the house were better than those to the side but all were acceptable. We stayed only one night but would have wanted to stay longer. A lot of hard work has gone into making the place relaxing for visitors with various quiet areas for people to enjoy the excellent views and quiet ambiance. We had an home cooked evening meal which was exceptional, value served by attentive staff. Breakfast was equally enjoyable.
This is a beautiful site but I think that anyone with mobility issues would struggle to enjoy it. All areas are only accessible by steps including going from the main house to the dining area and there are no hand rails, this is due to the raised site. Whilst I am sure the helpful nature of the staff is such that they would do their best to help I think it is worth noting that it is a site with lots of steps and ramps.
