The location was key in our decision to book and it didn’t disappoint. Central Christchurch is essentially right out the door and makes it all very walkable and enjoyable. The space was very nicely laid out and the balcony we had with a giant wall of windows was great and let in lots of light.
Nothing that I can put a finger on.

Great location for walking to all the main attractions in the CBD. A bonus was the number 8 bus just around the corner which went all the way out to the Antarctic Centre without having to take a car or taxi. Friendly and attentive staff who were knowledgeable of the city (been there for 30 years). Breakfast was consistently good, including barista-made coffee from a proper Italian coffee machine (another surprise).

Close to the Art Gallery and was very clean and warm
No safety rail in shower very slippy and dangerous for older people
No heater in bathroom fan didn’t work so mirrors got steamed up
Smell from toilet
