Good place if you just need to spend a night in the city and can cope with the disadvantages of shared hostel rooms. The hostel is well organized (kitchen use, etc) and well kept (very clean). Installations are professional (sockets, room layout, attached bathroom etc) so you are good when your roommates are. Location is very convenient to the city center and main station.
You have to bring your own padlock.

They didn't respond to request to get a lower bunk bed, no outlets near the top bed bunk.

Friendly staff, clean room. Shower and toilet within the room.
Spacious rooms. Clean beds. Had to share the room with three men who were snorring. Didn't get any sleep at all that night and left at 5 am in the morning.
For one night it was ok (was looking for a place to stay at short notice) and of course can't beat the price. 25€ per night is proper ok for a hostel.
If you're travelling on your own, planning to stay in Leipzig for a longer period of time (let's say 4 to 5 nights), can afford a hotel room & want a restful(!) stay, I'd strongly recommend to go with a hotel.
